There are 3 methods to open a mutual fund account:

  1. Visit our nearest office in your area (direct)

Here’s how:

  • Complete the account registration and investor’s profile form
  • Include a copy of your latest ID card (KTP or passport) and submit the forms to our head office or the nearest branch office
  • We will confirm your data submission by phone (021-5050-8000)
  • Once your data is confirmed, we will proceed with the issuance of your SID (Single Investor Identification) and IFUA (Investor Fund Unit Account).

 

  • Once SID and IFUA are issued and handed over to you..Voila! You may now proceed to do mutual fund transactions.

  • As part of our continued efforts to improve service quality, Mutual Fund account registration is now enabled

through our website and application.

  • You may register or simply gather further informations regarding Sinarmas Asset Management Mutual Fund products through our agents

First Subscription

Once your SID (Single Investor Identification) and IFUA (Investor Fund Unit Account) have been issued, you may:

  • Complete and sign your desired Mutual Fund unit subscription form
  • Transfer the fund to the chosen Mutual Fund product’s account
  • Submit the completed unit subscription form and proof of payment to Investment Manager before cut-off time (COT)

Submit all required documents to our head office / the nearest branch office, or simply send them via email to:  [email protected] with the subject: Pembelian Reksa Dana.

 

Regular Purchase

  • You must be an already-registered customer of Sinarmas Asset Management and have purchased the particular Mutual Fund product at least once before.
  • Fill in the Regular Investment form
  • There are 3 dates of choice for debiting: 1st, 10th, or 20th of the month. On that particular date, your fund will be automatically drawn for payment, based on the Mutual Fund product of your choosing.
  • Fill in the time period for  regular investment (minimum 12 months)
  • You may choose any of the banks listed below for auto debit purposes:

Complete and sign the Mutual Fund unit redemption form

Submit the completed form to Investment Manager

before cut-off time (COT).

“Switching” refers to the transfer of assets from one Mutual Fund product to another managed by the same brokerage (PT Sinarmas Asset Management) with the same Custodian Bank.

The procedure is as follows:

  • Complete and sign Mutual Fund unit switching form
  • Submit the completed form to Investment Manager before cut-off time (COT).

 

 

Cut-off time is the time limit to do a mutual fund transaction, that is 1 PM (13:00 WIB). If a transaction is done past 13:00 WIB, it will be processed and recorded as the next business day’s transaction and NAV.

 

Mutual Fund subscription may be done through direct account owned by the investor or accounts belonging to relatives who are listed (and can be proven) on any official documents (e.g Family Registration Certificate).

As for Mutual Fund redemption, the fund can only be processed into investor’s account directly.


 

Max T+7 since the mutual fund unit redemption instruction are received according to the procedure and cut-off time.

 

The customer must follow the correct procedure for account switching as listed below:

  • Complete and sign the Other-Account registration form or Account Switching form
  • Submit the form to our head office / the nearest branch office, along with the copy of the front page of bank book and latest ID.
  • The customer will be confirmed through call
  • Account adding/switching will be processed

It is no longer valid to register a mutual fund account under joint names using "AND" and "OR", but it is legal to register under "SA” (Sub Account).

To be eligible for registration under the Sub Account scheme, customers must enclose a copy of Birth Certificate (if one of the customers is below 17 years) or Family Registration Certificate.

Mutual Fund Investment is NOT subject to tax because the tax aspect has been deducted from assets portfolio/NAV calculation. This is in accordance with taxation regulation No.16 year 2009.

Investors who do transaction through head/branch office OR banks (which have become selling agents) are subject to the same terms and conditions (i.e. same subscription fee, redemption fee, access of information on the product as well as the product performance).

The only difference arises from the transaction procedure which is controlled by the selling agent.
